What Happened
Possible Facebook Dollar Scam — Please Be Careful I want to share my recent experience to warn others. I came across a Facebook advertisement offering USD at 118 BDT per dollar. I contacted the person and was told that I could purchase dollars by sending around 2,500 BDT. I sent the money as instructed. After receiving the payment, the person told me that there was a problem with my account and that they could not deliver the dollars unless I sent a minimum of 100 USD (10,000 BDT). I questioned this because the original agreement was for the amount I had already paid. Instead of resolving the issue or refunding my money, the person stopped responding and eventually turned off their phone. At this point, I have neither received the dollars nor received a refund. I am sharing this as a warning to anyone who may come across similar Facebook ads offering unusually cheap USD. Please verify the seller carefully before sending any money. I have screenshots of the advertisement, conversations, payment information, and transaction details as evidence. If anyone has experienced the same person/page or knows how to properly report this type of scam, please let me know.
