TrustCheck BD is an awareness platform for ordinary citizens; it is not a law enforcement agency or the police. We cannot directly investigate a crime ourselves or arrest anyone. Please use all the information published here solely for the purpose of public awareness and making safer decisions.
User Eligibility
You may use TrustCheck BD only if you meet the conditions below. By using the site, you confirm that you have this eligibility.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or be using the site with the permission and supervision of a guardian
- You are obligated to comply with all applicable laws of Bangladesh and the laws of the country where you are currently located

- Maintain humane and respectful behaviour towards everyone on the platform, including the accused page or person
- Keep your account login information fully secure and inform us immediately if you have any suspicion
- Do not file reports based on hearsay, rumours, or word-of-mouth stories — only report confirmed incidents
- If you notice any error or gap in previously submitted information, correct it promptly through our Help Center
Reporting Rules
Accurate and honest reporting is the foundation of this platform. The following standards are mandatory for every complaint submitted.
- The report must be based on an incident that happened to you personally or on incontrovertible evidence
- At the time of submission, all information must be completely true and factual to the best of your knowledge
- Attached chat screenshots, payment receipts, or transaction records must be entirely genuine — no editing is allowed
- Reports must not be filed out of personal enmity, business competition, political motives, or to needlessly harass someone
- Describe real incidents — fictional stories or vague accusations are not acceptable
Any report found to be deliberately false, fabricated, or defamatory will be deleted directly without notice. The TrustCheck BD team reserves the full right to edit, moderate, or cancel any request or report.
Important Warning
Let Honesty Be Behind Every Report You File
TrustCheck BD was built to protect people from genuine scams. Knowingly filing a fake or fabricated report to frame someone is a serious offence, and it causes real harm to people.
- Falsely accusing someone causes irreparable damage to their social reputation, livelihood, and peace of mind
- Fake reports corrupt our database and mislead those who rely on this site to make decisions
- Profiles that submit false reports will be permanently banned, along with their IP address
- If any content is proven to be deliberately fraudulent, TrustCheck BD will assist law enforcement agencies with all relevant information under the country's applicable cyber laws
Verification Process
Every report submitted to TrustCheck BD is reviewed by our moderation team through a defined internal process. A 'Verified' or 'Reviewed' badge on a report means that, at the time of review, our team considered the incident reliable based on the supporting evidence.
The verification status is entirely our editorial assessment—it is not a substitute for a legal ruling or an official investigation. We are not a court or a judicial body.
If new information or reliable evidence emerges later, the verification status of any report may be changed, cancelled, or downgraded. A change in status does not mean the earlier report was fake.
TrustCheck BD cannot provide a 100% guarantee of the future behaviour or reliability of any person or online shop listed on the site. Users are always requested to use their own judgement and discretion before any transaction.
Strictly Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the TrustCheck BD platform. Breaking these rules will result in your access being blocked immediately, and legal action will be taken if necessary.
Harmful Behaviour
- Deliberately submitting fake, fabricated, or staged reports against a person or business
- Threatening or attempting to blackmail anyone within the platform or through submitted content
- Impersonating another user, a genuine business page, or a TrustCheck BD team member to deceive others
- Submitting a report on behalf of a victim without their permission or explicit consent
Misuse of the Platform
- Posting unwanted spam, promotional links, or your own advertising content on the site
- Attempting to steal data from the site using any kind of bot, script, crawler, or automated tool
- Attempting to find bugs or vulnerabilities in our servers or security systems without permission
- Doing anything that places excessive load on our servers or the site's infrastructure
Unlawful Acts
- Using our platform to conduct or conceal any illegal activity
- Uploading any content that violates Bangladesh's applicable cyber security laws or any other law
- Leaking someone's highly personal information, such as home or family details, on the internet without their consent (Doxxing)
- Sharing anything that infringes the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property of TrustCheck BD or any other third party
Content Ownership
You will always retain full ownership of all the text, descriptions, and uploaded screenshots you submit.
However, by submitting a report into the system, you grant TrustCheck BD a royalty-free license to store, display, and review it, so that we can run the site smoothly and protect others from fraud.
If the content is removed at your request, this license automatically ends — though the record may be retained in the backend database as required by law for legal audit or compliance purposes.
TrustCheck BD will never sell any file or personal information you submit to any third-party company for commercial purposes.
Intellectual Property & Rights
Every element of the TrustCheck BD platform is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. The following rights are strictly reserved.
- The 'TrustCheck BD' name, logo, branding, and visual design are our registered trademarks — using them without permission is strictly prohibited
- The site's source code, design layout, and user interface (UI) are protected by copyright law
- Our own verification methodology, risk-scoring algorithm, and scam trend analysis are confidential business formulas (Trade Secrets)
- This database of scams collected from across Bangladesh is an original creative work protected by law
- For non-commercial public awareness purposes, you may share the links to our public reports anywhere
Platform Availability
We make every effort to keep TrustCheck BD running 24 hours a day, but it is not possible to provide any legal guarantee that the site will remain fully uninterrupted at all times.
We may push scheduled maintenance or updates at any time to improve the site's quality, fix security bugs, or for legal reasons. Where possible, we will announce downtime in advance.
In case of a sudden technical fault or server outage, our engineering team will work to bring the site back online as quickly as possible.
TrustCheck BD will not be liable for any temporary inconvenience caused by scheduled or sudden downtime.
Limitation of Liability
TrustCheck BD publishes information solely for public awareness and to reduce the risk of online fraud. Treat all content and verified reports on the site as a reference guide, not as a final legal ruling.

However, in the case of proven negligence or wilful misconduct by our team, necessary measures will be taken in accordance with compliance law.
